Amazing predictions!

I'm addicted to YouTube astrology forecasts. I know a little bit about the subject, so I try to see what might be happening whenever transiting heavenly bodies are making aspects to my natal heavenly bodies. Then I try to guess how those aspects *might* affect me.

You see, I'd like certain aspects of my life to change for the better. I think everyone has that desire, which is why YouTube astrologers are bound to get a lot of views if they can be even somewhat coherent in their presentations. At some point I checked out some Tarot card readers for my sun sign (Gemini) forecasts, as well, but I came to the conclusion that those readings are more unreliable than the astrological readings.  

I can't rely on the Gemini or Sagittarius (my rising sign) forecasts, either, because my houses are so unusually sized. I was born nearer the Arctic Circle than most people on this planet, and some of my houses are huge while others are minuscule, using the Placidus system, which I like better than the equal house system. Even so, I have one house that's tiny and crammed with planets while another house is huge and totally empty.

Every single astrology (and Tarot!) forecast is chock-full of amazing predictions. Only 3 percent of those predictions ever come anywhere near to coming true for me. The exceptions to this are the Mercury retrogrades. Mercury rules Gemini, and those retrogrades really mess up my life. I have high hopes for Jupiter's ingress into Gemini in May of 2024, though. I could really use some good luck. However, the last time Jupiter was in Gemini, in 2012 and 2013, I couldn't really notice anything extra positive about it. So, who knows what will happen.

A dream of life on another planet

It's funny how most people in the "civilized" Western world tend to think intelligent life exists only on Earth and that our physical reality is all there is and that we only live once. It's funny, but it's also a burden when you think otherwise and you don't fit in. I had a realistic dream decades ago where I was living with a group of people on a very inhospitable planet. The days were hot as hell and the nights were dangerously cold, just like in an Earth desert environment, but ten times more extreme. We lived in a huge stone structure. The stone blocks the building was made of were easily 12 ft long and 9 ft wide. This was necessary to keep the living beings inside comfortable. You see, when the planet's sun was up, it would fry everything on the ground. A normal Earth stick-construction house would've almost caught fire. Imaginary chicken dinner

You have to meet people where they are. This also applies in senior care.  People with Alzheimer's or other dementia issues live in their own worlds. Some people relive events from their distant past or they are hallucinating and you have to play along or you might upset them. Family members often don't want to play along because they have a hard time accepting their loved ones aren't the same people they used to be.  Client: Oh, look at that clown on the other side of the street! Me: Wow! Nice flaming hair! Client's daughter: There's no clown there, Dad! Client: You need new glasses or something? Of course, it's frustrating when the client tells me to go away, that I'm not supposed to be in their house, and no matter how many times I explain I'm with the agency that helps them, they won't remember or accept me.
