Their way or the highway

I took the kids ice-skating today at Pegula Ice Arena. I also took them the day before yesterday. It irritates me to no end that the only direction people are willing to skate is counterclockwise. What is wrong with going the other way, too? After all, real ice-skaters have to skate both ways, not just one way. I’ve been able to get people to go the other way a couple times over the years by being the first one on ice, but it is so hard to go against the grain in anything. When you work out, you do repetitions with both arms and both legs, not just one side. To go only one way in the skating rink will develop only one side of your brain.   In the same vein, why do people in spelling bees have to spell all the words straight from their heads without the aid of paper and pencil? I can’t spell off the top of my head. I spell better when I can write the words down. Why do spelling bees favor only the people who are good at that one specific way? There is more than one way to learn an...

In bad taste: Reminiscing about ancient personal history

Image
I'm 50 years old today. I'd be happy to stay alive as a female human for 10 more years so I could see my kids grow into adults, but anything's fine, really. I'm getting too old to care. Lately I've thought about my first real job, if you can call it that. I was on summer break from college--yes, I was young once--and this lady who knew my parents needed someone to help care for her bedbound mother and to make dinner for two, the lady herself and her female roommate. The elder care I learned quickly--giving her pills, offering her liquids, feeding her yogurt and pudding, and changing her briefs (adult diapers) and underpads. It was the ladies' dinner antics that still stick to my mind. The two women had a quaint custom: critiquing the meals that their servants served them. I had big shoes to fill. Their longtime helper had scaled back her hours, which was why I had been hired in the first place, and she was an amazing cook. The ladies I had to impress had a few t...

50 years of life

Image
I'll be 50 years of age in less than three weeks. There won't be a party. There won't be a celebration. I'll have to take my kids to an amusement park on my birthday, but I won't be going on any rides because I'm not young anymore.  Back then, in my twenties and thirties until I had children, I loved to go on amusement park rides. I also had a good job and even some money to spare. How things change when you're old. Now I spend all of my money on basic necessities, food, clothing, and shelter, and I buy things for my children. If there's any cash left over, there's always the kids' college funds and my own rainy day savings account where the money should go.  Nobody understands how good they have it as young, childless, carefree people who can work in the field they went to college for. I worked as a newspaper copy editor for 10 years, and now there's very little work to be had in the newspaper field anymore. Things change.  All I can hope fo...

Hope and faith

Image
It's been a cold winter here in central Pennsylvania and now, finally, after over a month of below-freezing temperatures, the weather is warming up for a few days. January has been tough. For me, it included a 24-hour period when my natural gas furnace stopped working and I had to rely on two electric space heaters to keep my pipes from freezing. Two visits from service techs later and so far I still have heat, but I'm still scared on cold nights. My guides always tell me not to worry. It's impossible not to worry sometimes and then I chastise myself for not being able to sustain a high frequency. I should have faith that everything in my life will work out, but it's hard.  The one thing that gives me hope right now are the days that are getting longer. Groundhog Day is upon us, too, once again, reminding me that the Earth is still going around the Sun and staying on schedule. All I have to do is keep breathing and eventually summer will arrive. That's what I have f...

Imperfect holidays

Image
I was watching one of my favorite YouTube channels,   Escape to rural France , where Dan the builder was explaining what he was doing, and you could see his breath because it was so cold. This brought to mind my least favorite cable channel, Hallmark, and its famous Countdown to Christmas movies. I've been forced to watch a lot of those movies with my elderly clients. Sure, the movies are great, nothing traumatic ever happens to anybody, and the endings are always happy, but they are never based on real life. If you watch any Hallmark winter movie closely enough, several themes emerge. Nobody's breath fogs up, ever. This is impossible to achieve in natural settings. Also, people don't button up or zip up their coats and don't wear hats in the middle of piles of snow. The characters in Hallmark movies can walk up and down sidewalks with their coats open or talk to each other outside the front doors of palatial homes in their shirtsleeves without ever getting cold and the...

Focus on the light to get through the elections

Image
"No matter who wins, nothing will change until the light wins, " my guides have told me about the Nov. 5 elections. They will not comment on who will become president, although they did say Joe Biden's body is so ill that he won't be with us much longer. "The light needs to win," they said, and we can do our part by focusing on the light and holding onto the handholds of the fifth dimension. The fourth is not a stable dimension like the third and the fifth, so we are kind of working our way through the gateway dimension of the fourth to get to the fifth where we can permanently stay when the final push starts in four years or so. In the meantime, we need to breathe in light and breathe out peace, walk the Earth to anchor peace everywhere, and simply try to get through each day. Time is going even faster now, which can also bring opportunities for the quick balancing of karma. Focusing on the light, healing our traumas, taking care of ourselves and others, an...

The UFOs in the clouds

Image
I'm looking to the skies more often these days. My ET guides, the Tourmalines, have been showing me how people can see their vessels during the day through the positive cloud shapes and the negative spaces between the clouds. As we know from the work of Masaru Emoto, author of the 2005 book  The Hidden Messages in Water , different energy frequencies (thoughts, words, and feelings) directed toward water molecules will influence those molecules to form different shapes. The following photos were taken of the clouds, which are made of condensed water vapor.  I took these pictures on Sept. 7, 2024, from the front steps of my house in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, where I often sit if it’s warm enough. I got the urge to take pictures of the sky with my iPhone. I didn’t see anything noteworthy right away, but I saw what they wanted me to see after I started paying attention. I took the following picture at 3:49 p.m. The upper-middle part of the photo shows a dome shape partially formed...

Imaginary chicken dinner

Image
You have to meet people where they are. This also applies in senior care.  People with Alzheimer's or other dementia issues live in their own worlds. Some people relive events from their distant past or they are hallucinating and you have to play along or you might upset them. Family members often don't want to play along because they have a hard time accepting their loved ones aren't the same people they used to be.  Client: Oh, look at that clown on the other side of the street! Me: Wow! Nice flaming hair! Client's daughter: There's no clown there, Dad! Client: You need new glasses or something? Of course, it's frustrating when the client tells me to go away, that I'm not supposed to be in their house, and no matter how many times I explain I'm with the agency that helps them, they won't remember or accept me. Short-term memory goes first for the majority of people. The most frustrating thing for me is when their grown kids walk through the door an...

See you space cowboy

Image
None of us knows what we do when our bodies are asleep. My guides have told me that I do my cosmic work at that time, whatever that may entail. They also told me I go on missions with Bob, the space cowboy, sometimes.  So, imagine my surprise when I was driving along I-99 yesterday, minding my own business, and I see a decal on the back of a car. "See you space cowboy..." it said. Well, that was the first time I've ever seen that. Turns out there's a movie, "Space Cowboys," that was made in 2000, directed and produced by Clint Eastwood. It's about four aging test pilots sent into space to repair an old Soviet satellite. I'd like to think my adventures with Bob are more interesting than that. I mean, I'm in my light body when I'm out of my physical body, and my light body is capable of instant travel, anywhere, so the missions have to be pretty intense, right? My guides have not given me any details about the stuff I do, though, so I don't...

Vivid dreams, anyone? I've been having some funky ones in the past few months, but last night's took the cake.  I was neutralizing vampires. I know, you might think I was staking them through the heart and turning them to dust, Buffy style, right? Wrong. Turns out, to really hurt vampires, you bless them. That's right. "In Jesus' name, I bless you. May you be filled with light." I was looking at vampires writhing on the ground in agony while I was saying things like this. The most dramatic reaction came from the one whose T-shirt I pulled up, then placed my palm on his naked skin. Boy, did he howl. The most difficult case was the vampire who'd somehow taught himself to be the perfect pastor. I was blessing him, and he was on the ground, but he wasn't exhibiting the normal signs of being hurt. "Praise Jesus! Yes, praise his holy name!" this obviously disingenuous vamp was spouting from his mouth. It didn't sound genuine at all, but he'...

Disappointing past lives

Image
Some people come to me to get a QHHT session for the express purpose of discovering their past lives. It's not always a blessing to know them, however. Some lives can be brutally traumatic, there are fortunate periods in some, but often lives are mundane and boring. My guides recently told me I've been incarnating on this planet since the time of Lemuria, and that I've also lived on Atlantis. I know nothing of those lives. I do know more about my lives within the past 2,000 years.  One of those lives was as a Chinese emperor's wife. I've been a member of a harem in at least three different lives, and the Chinese one was an honorable one, albeit boring. My parents sold me to the emperor's agents, I was brought up to the palace, but I never saw the emperor. Instead, I lived my life as a low-level servant, sweeping the hallways and rooms in the imperial theater. I saw beautiful, fancily costumed women daily. They had elaborate rituals before their performances, the...

The purposes of Starlink satellites

Image
Elon Musk's ambitious project is more far-reaching than I realized. Here's what I learned by Googling "What do Starlink satellites do?" Starlink is the name of a satellite network developed by the private spaceflight company SpaceX to provide low-cost internet to remote locations. A Starlink satellite has a lifespan of approximately five years and SpaceX eventually hopes to have as many as 42,000 satellites in this so-called megaconstellation. And, apparently the satellites can be seen only when sunlight reflects off of them, because they don't emit any light of their own. Humanity is in its infancy where space is concerned. The average person has no idea what "aliens" are capable of in terms of technology and interstellar travel. The space people monitoring our planet's progress and conditions are obviously also using Starlink satellites to see what's going on down here. As Dolores Cannon wrote, we will not be permitted to blow up this planet. T...

Not a UAP

Image
I'm one of those people who would be thrilled to see a UAP, or a UFO for us older folks. I got all excited a couple nights ago after I saw something in the sky I've never seen before--a string of lights, moving slowly, seemingly pretty close. They moved totally together in a line, . . . . . . . . . . . . ., and ten seconds after I spotted the sight, they disappeared. It was a clear night, I could see stars behind them the whole time, and even though I waited for a few minutes to see if they'd come out of hiding, they never did. I was so excited! My first real "alien" sighting! But it was not real. Someone showed me a picture of Elon Musk's Starlink satellites, and that was them. What a letdown! However, I later figured that I was still pretty lucky to see something like that at 6:30 p.m. in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, with all the lights the town has. I was also exactly at the right place at the right time--on a hill above my house after parking my car--and look...

Winter solstice vs. the birth of Christ

Image
Christian leaders  needed something powerful to counteract the magic of the winter solstice, so they came up with the fable that Jesus was born at that time. Nobody knows for sure when he was born, of course. Now Christmas is mostly about gifts, purportedly because the three kings came over with gold, frankincense, and myrrh, but we all know the real reason we have to buy gifts.  The world economy runs on consumption of goods and services, and if you don't buy your share, you're the reason the economy tanks, children starve, and the homeless freeze their fingertips. The more consumers consume, the bigger the landfills get, the more toxic chemicals are released, and the larger the plastic islands in the oceans grow. Everything, food included, is packaged and most of the packaging either doesn't get recycled or can't be recycled. What is the year's greatest festival of light ends up contributing to more darkness overall. Maybe you can be the one who dares to spend and...

The universal fable: How the Bear Lost Its Tail

Image
I have been reading "The Legend of Starcrash" by Dolores Cannon. Imagine my surprise when I read the Finnish folk tale I grew up with, "How the Bear Lost Its Tail," on the pages of the book.  In the story, the fox tells the bear that he can catch a lot of fish in the winter with his tail if he makes a hole in the lake ice and goes there during the night when all the stars are shining brightly. The fish will bite his tail and in the morning he can pull his tail up, all the fish will be attached to it, and he will get to enjoy a big meal. The bear does exactly what the fox suggests. It is a freezing cold night, made colder without a cloud cover in the sky. The bear plunges its tail into the freezing waters through a hole in the ice, sits down, and waits. Whenever he feels pain, the bear thinks it's the fish biting on the tail.  The bear wakes up in the morning. As he pulls up mightily, he doesn't realize the water has frozen on his tail and it snaps off. The b...

Earth: Alien tourist destination!

Image
The holidays are upon us, and that has got me thinking about the tourism from other planets we might start experiencing sooner than we expect. Our planet is unique in many ways, and two of those ways are the free will and overpowering emotions it's possible to experience here. In my work as a QHHT practitioner, I've had a few people go into previous/simultaneous lives as aliens. One was a being who had to work all the time, had a long life, and didn't have the freedom to explore other worlds/dimensions. That being had very little free time; their time was taken up by rote work. Another person went into a life where the being was a member of a highly advanced technological society and their emotions had virtually disappeared. Many aliens I've read about in Dolores Cannon's books also have a very limited emotional range as well as little, if any, gender differences, and they usually don't reproduce sexually.  So, imagine what Earth could give to beings like that! ...

Forging ahead with/out fear

Image
Dolores Cannon, the beloved developer of Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique, said that fear has no place in the New Earth. Today I took a step toward letting go of my lifelong fears by doing something completely different (thank you, Monty Python!). I've just spent 5.5 hours working as a member of the event staff at the Bryce Jordan Center in the Penn State campus in State College. Comedian John Mulaney headlined the show. I was a part of the crew that provided a cell phone-free experience to the audience.  I'd never done anything like it before. From answering the ad on Craigslist to signing up online to gathering with others--at the wrong place--at the BJC before the event, it was all new to me. I was one of the people manning the tables just inside one of the entrances. I had a tote bag of pouches in front of me and I crammed people's cell phones and smart watches in there, sealed the pouch, and gave it back to them. When the show was over, I was outside with the others,...

Amazing predictions!

Image
I'm addicted to YouTube astrology forecasts. I know a little bit about the subject, so I try to see what might be happening whenever transiting heavenly bodies are making aspects to my natal heavenly bodies. Then I try to guess how those aspects *might* affect me. You see, I'd like certain aspects of my life to change for the better. I think everyone has that desire, which is why YouTube astrologers are bound to get a lot of views if they can be even somewhat coherent in their presentations. At some point I checked out some Tarot card readers for my sun sign (Gemini) forecasts, as well, but I came to the conclusion that those readings are more unreliable than the astrological readings.   I can't rely on the Gemini or Sagittarius (my rising sign) forecasts, either, because my houses are so unusually sized. I was born nearer the Arctic Circle than most people on this planet, and some of my houses are huge while others are minuscule, using the Placidus system, which I like bet...

Bob the interstellar cowboy

Let me tell you about Bob. He's an interstellar dimension jumper/courier who chooses to present himself as an Old West cowboy most of the time.  He's about 7.5 feet tall. He wears a Stetson, a red-blue-white checkered long-sleeved flannel cowboy-style button-down shirt with a cow leather, fringed vest, a bolo tie with a small, metal cow skull, blue jeans, a huge, metal belt buckle on his belt, and brown cowboy boots. He likes the getup also because it camouflages his real shape and looks pretty efficiently. Usually he doesn't have a set shape. He is constantly changing dimensions, which means that he can't pin down his body to any particular mass. The molecules of his body are adaptable to a degree it's hard for a human brain to comprehend. His job involves taking packages across dimensions to different locations and to different beings. Usually those packages are composed entirely of vibrational frequencies and he stores them in his own body for transport. That...

A dream of life on another planet

Image
It's funny how most people in the "civilized" Western world tend to think intelligent life exists only on Earth and that our physical reality is all there is and that we only live once. It's funny, but it's also a burden when you think otherwise and you don't fit in. I had a realistic dream decades ago where I was living with a group of people on a very inhospitable planet. The days were hot as hell and the nights were dangerously cold, just like in an Earth desert environment, but ten times more extreme. We lived in a huge stone structure. The stone blocks the building was made of were easily 12 ft long and 9 ft wide. This was necessary to keep the living beings inside comfortable. You see, when the planet's sun was up, it would fry everything on the ground. A normal Earth stick-construction house would've almost caught fire. However, the stone blocks acted as effective insulation. Because of their thickness, the heat from the outside would seep into ...
